Staying in the Daddy Long Legs Independent Travellers Hotel is like being part of an interactive art exhibition. The thirteen-room boutique backpacker is quite unlike anything else in South Africa. Not only is each room uniquely decorated by an artist, poet, photographer, designer or musician, but, they were afforded complete freedom to interpret the space as they pleased, resulting in a collection of hotel rooms that are an adventurous, humorous (and sometimes ironic) representation of Cape Town’s contemporary cultural landscape.

As an independent travellers hotel, Daddy Long Legs will appeal to those seeking an authentic experience of Cape Town. It is a place to meet others and it is ideally situated for exploring the character and nightlife of the city and it’s surrounds.
