Established in 1973, Universal Lightning Protection & Earthing Services T/A Lightning Protection Services specialises in all aspects of earthing and lightning protection. During this time, the company has developed vast experience and expertise in consulting, design and installation of these systems in accordance with the relevant SANS codes of practice. The company prides itself in keeping up to date with the latest codes of practice as well as any technological advances in the field. In this light, the last few years have seen the company investing in the most up to date CAD software as well as the implementation of its own proprietry custom software packages which have been extensively utilised to ensure that the initial design proposals are within 10% of the actual final results.

The footprint is largely in the Eastern Cape although projects have been completed successfully in the Western Cape, Natal and Gauteng.

Their current client base includes electrical consulting engineers, architects, mining houses, mobile telephone companies, metropolitan councils, government departments, water affairs, computer companies, military and police force.
