The Book People have been providing quality children’s books and adult titles from all corners of the globe directly to you for over ten years at prices that are unchallenged in South Africa.

Over the years we have solidified relationships with leading UK Publishers such as Usborne, Kingfisher, Walker Books, Dorling Kindersley, Penguin, Miles Kelly and Parragon as well as Hinkler and Quarto from Australia. They have supplied us with many of our best sellers and assisted in us establishing a strong and balanced inventory.

Our agents display books each month to many top businesses as well as over 800 schools in South Africa. Three years ago we started with our book sales at schools and currently we are servicing nearly 100 schools in the Western Cape annually. We have also commenced our schools sales operation in Gauteng which has taken off with a BANG!!

We also provide an online purchasing service. All you have to register as a customer, place your purchases in the shopping cart and pay for your purchases via Credit Card or EFT. Your package will be mailed to you at a stabdard rate of R30 for orders under R400 and free of charge for orders over R400.
