General information

Established in 1968, Guthrie's Shooting Range has become a historic landmark in Midrand. We specialise in firearms, archery, air rifles, knives, licencing and training. Our 19 lane handgun range is 25 meters long and used to train police, security, and body guard personnel. It is also used for events and general practice for those looking to brush up on their aim and technique. We have a fully equipped 20 yard indoor & 60 yard outdoor archery range with a selection of bows and archery equipment for sale and for hire.

Situated in the heart of Midrand, Guthrie's was one of the very first establishments ever to be built in Vorna Valley. We have a selection of firearms for hire including weapons such as the AK47, Glock, 44 Magnum, and R5 Carbine. We have trained thousands of people how to handle and safely shoot a variety of different weapons including handgun, rifle, shotgun and machine carbine. We also stock world class air rifle equipment, accessories, services and repairs.
